Job Description

The HR Assistant/Recruiter supports the Human Resources department by managing recruitment activities, onboarding processes, and administrative tasks. This role requires fluency in Spanish and English to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Communicate with candidates and employees in both English and Spanish to ensure clarity and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems and prepare reports as needed.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and training sessions.
  • Support HR team with benefits administration, payroll processing, and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and diversity initiatives.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and HR projects.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-3 years in HR support or recruiting; experience in bilingual environments preferred.
  • Language: Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
    • Organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
